Letters to Santa with Sun, Moon, and Stars

It’s our Annual Holiday Party-Letter's to Santa!

Join us for a cheerful event where children on the autism spectrum can walk through our holiday themed event from table to table in a welcoming environment.  

We will be adhering to social distancing guidelines (see Covid waiver below). Space is limited to 10 children, each with one adult per time slot.  There will be 4 time slots available and we ask that no siblings attend due to Covid Phase 2.1 restrictions.  We are, however, sending treats home for them.

Tickets are $5.00/child (register) . Adults are FREE. One (1) adult per family max.

What to expect:

You will be emailed a "Letter to Santa" template that we ask you to fill out with your child and bring to the event if they so choose.  

Each child will receive a holiday bag and stroll table to table to receive a treat or small gift/activity to take home.  In addition, there will be 4 festive holiday displays for you to visit with your child and take photos with so make sure you bring a camera!!

This is a walk through event only.  We are unable to allow for food/drinks/tables & chairs for sitting due to Covid restrictions.  Masks are required unless you have a medical waiver.

Their stroll will conclude with a visit with the man himself, SANTA!  We will have a special mailbox they can place their letters in and a chance for a photo with social distancing measures in place.

I also acknowledge and understand that there is an incalculable degree of risk of contracting and/or transmitting any viral and/or bacterial illness(es) including but not limited to COVID 19, that is inherent to attendance and /or participation in Sun, Moon & Stars, Inc. I accept and assume that risk knowingly and voluntarily.

I therefore covenant and agree that neither I, nor my child, shall have any cause of action or make any claim or demand against Sun, Moon & Stars, Inc., its Board of Directors, Agents and Representatives, based upon, arising from or related to the contraction or transmission of COVID 19 or any other viral and/or bacterial illnesses; and shall hold Sun, Moon & Stars, Inc., its Board of Directors, Agents and Representatives absolutely harmless and indemnified from any and all liability and/or damages caused by, arising from or related to the same.

"Sun, Moon & Stars organizes community events and collaborates with local establishments to provide its member-families with a judgment-free and supportive environment. Sun, Moon & Stars does not provide therapeutic services or behavioral support at any such event. Each of our children has unique abilities and/or limitations and it is therefore critical that you are prepared to accommodate your child’s individual needs during a Sun, Moon & Stars activity or outing. (We welcome you to invite additional family members or your behavioral therapist to accompany and assist you with making you and your child’s experience at a Sun, Moon & Stars event successful.) For this specific event, we will have ABA staff on site and included in our count to assist you.  We are unable to allow for additional family members at this time.  Thank you for understanding as we navigate the rules outlined by the State of Connecticut.
